Why weight matters more than volume
A dumpster has a weight limit before it has a volume limit. Twenty yards of cardboard weighs almost nothing; twenty yards of wet dirt weighs more than our truck can lift. That's why concrete, dirt, brick and asphalt only go in a 10 yard, and why we ask about roofing and tile before delivery.
If you're loading something heavy, call. We'd rather send the right size than charge you for the wrong one.

How to load it
Open the rear door and walk the big, flat things in first: doors, sheets of drywall, mattresses. Stack them along the floor. Then fill the gaps with the small stuff and work toward the door.
Keep everything level with the top rail. The truck can't tarp a load that sticks up, and the landfill won't take one, so anything above the rim stays on your driveway.
Loading questions
Can I put a refrigerator in?+
Yes, with the $45 freon fee. Washers, dryers, stoves and dishwashers are free.
What about treated lumber?+
It's fine. Railroad ties are not.
What if something prohibited ends up in the load?+
The landfill rejects the load or charges a handling fee, and we pass that on. If you find something after you've loaded it, call us and we'll figure it out before pickup.
